About
Got tools sitting at home you don’t use… or standing in the aisle thinking “I should know this”? You’re not alone — and you’re not behind. Join me, Tammy from Canadian Handywoman and the Home & Farm editor for Harrowsmith, for a 3-hour, hands-on toolbox intensive designed to help you finally feel comfortable using the tools you’ve been avoiding. This isn’t a quick overview. This is where you actually learn how to use them. Designed by women, for women, this session gives you the time, space, and support to get your hands on the tools, try things out, and build real confidence — not just watch someone else do it.
Most women were never actually shown how to use tools in a way that builds real confidence.
This workshop exists to change that. You’ll get the time, space, and support to actually use the tools, understand how they work, and feel comfortable doing it yourself. Because once you stop guessing, everything gets easier. And you start seeing your home as something you can handle — not something that handles you.
This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch kind of workshop. You’ll be using the tools yourself, asking questions, and figuring it out in a supportive, no-pressure space. No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to try.
If you’re ready to stop second-guessing, start using the tools you already have (or finally know what to buy), and feel capable in your own space — this is your starting point.
This is about real-world skills and practical confidence in your own home.
